These photographs document and reimagine the Shannon Fields in Corbally and areas close by connected by the river. The project began during Ireland's 5K travel restrictions in the pandemic and extended through to 2023. Initially a place of quiet refuge during lockdown, the project evolved into a reflection on the passage of time and the changing relationship between people and the land. The images capture both the consistency of the landscape and the subtle shifts within it, revealing a space that has provided solace while quietly transforming, much like those who walked its paths during times of isolation.
